Drawing II - (Beginning Drawing is prerequisite)

Monday Mornings 10-12noon

4 week session - $105    Next session: January 2018

October 16, 23, 30, November 6, 13, 27 (skipping Nov. 20)

This drawing class introduces more technique and tools and drawing practice building on the fundamentals of Beginning Drawing.

To start, I give a demonstration of a technique using a photograph, set-up still life or a live clothed model. Music, usually classical, plays in the background making for a relaxed atmosphere. After my demo, you have the option to paint the demo or paint a subject matter of your choosing. In most classes, artists are of varied skill level. We all can learn from one another. Nearing the end of the 2 hour class, at times, we display our paintings (unfinished or finished) so that everyone can observe how others interpret the subject matter. We have fun!
